Committee Recruitment Drive for Term 2011/2012 - Check!

The committee recruitment drive held today was a great success! :D A big thank you to all the applicants who turned up!

To the selected few, you will receive a text message on your acceptance into your respective avenue latest by tomorrow (Friday, 23 June).

To those of you who did not manage to make it through the selection process this time, fret not: you are still part of the RACUTP family as much as the rest of us are. ;) Do join us in our upcoming club meetings and events to know more about Rotaract! Committee Recruitment Drive for Term 2011/2012


Attention to all! There will be a committee recruitment drive for our club as stated in the poster above.

You can *choose ONE among five different avenues of service. All avenues are diverse in terms of tasks and responsibilities so do pick wisely.

Listed below are the job scopes for each avenue to give you a general idea of what to expect from being a committee member of RACUTP. Do read on as the information here will further help you during the recruitment process.


Club Service Avenue
  • Develops strategies for membership development and retention
  • Takes meeting minutes
  • Writes and distributes the club bulletin
  • Plans fellowship activities for the membership
Community Service Avenue
  • Reviews suggestions and develops plans for the club's annual community service project(s)
  • Takes a leadership role in organizing and facilitating the project(s)
International Service Avenue
  • Reviews suggestions and develops plans for the club's annual international service project(s)
  • Takes a leadership role in organizing and facilitating the project(s)
  • Develops other activities that promote international understanding among club members and in the community
Professional Development Avenue
  • Reviews suggestions and develops plans to provide opportunities for professional development for the club's membership
  • Takes a leadership role in facilitating programs and projects related to this area
Funding Avenue
  • Collects any district and club dues
  • Plans for club fundraising to support club administration and service activities

*A member may not necessarily be recruited into his/her avenue of choice. He/She may be transferred to other avenues under special circumstances.
